Discover Corsham

Corsham is one of Wiltshire’s best-kept secrets: a honey-coloured Bath stone market town with a cobbled High Street, independent shops and peacocks wandering the streets.

Its story goes back to Saxon times, and its wealth came from the wool trade and the local stone quarries. The architectural historian Nikolaus Pevsner wrote that no town in Wiltshire could match it for its wealth of good houses.

Hartham Park Estate sits just outside the town, so a morning in Corsham pairs perfectly with lunch and a countryside walk on the estate.

Highlights of Corsham
