‘We stayed at The Gate Lodge for a long weekend and absolutely loved it. The cottage is beautifully appointed – spacious bedrooms, a cosy living area and a lovely garden where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped, and the roll‑top bath was such a treat after full days exploring the countryside.
The location is peaceful yet conveniently close to Bath, Lacock and Castle Combe, so we had the perfect balance of relaxation and sightseeing. The views over the parkland are stunning, and free parking and fast self check‑in made our stay seamless. It really felt like a proper getaway – we’d definitely stay here again.’
